I absolutely love their food. Everything is so good. The only thing is, they are barely open. I wish they were open more often and open during the hours they say they're going to be open.

The building is just walk in, place order then you get a handheld device that lets you know when your order is ready. The process is great and the line moves quickly. Now for the food: I purchased a large rib tip with mixed sauce. This was my very first visit and let me assure you, I am extremely picky when it comes to food. I grew up eating some seriously delicious home cooking and expect nothing less than what I am accustomed to. My verdict on the rib tips is A++++ I could not believe how delicious the rib tips were!!! It's very hard to impress me with food. I know good food and these were amazing!!! I am thinking about going back tomorrow to get another order, that's how much I love them!!!! The nice lady that took my order was very friendly and pleasant, I did not ask if she was the owner but if you read my review, I really appreciate your wonderful personality and I am thoroughly impressed with your business! Thank you for opening this business on the east side of Indy!!!! I wish you much success and will support this wonderful small business as much as I can...Thanks so much!!!!

10th and Post! 5 stars, hands down. Found this place at 730 AM. this morning. Mr Ron was out smoking the meat already. I saw the smoke and pulled over to get the number and hours and Mr Ron came and al talked to me for a good 10 minutes. He told me their history, brought me some minutes, showed me pictures... very nice and enjoyable conversation. I couldn't wait to get off work and have dinner. They have pork ribs but no pork in the BBQ beans or green beans... Yay. I'm always looking for turkey options. They have turkey tips, chili, and burgers. The macNcheese was fire! I believe they said they use 5 cheeses. I can definitely taste the flavor. We were happy with the Bbq beans and potatoe salad sides as well. The sides come in regular and large We had regular size, and they were bigger than other BBq places like kings ribs or city bbq. Now to the meats! Both were perfectly smoked, flavorful, full of meat, tender, and falling off the bone. They have 3 sauces, sweet, mixed, and spicy. I had mixed and added a little hot sauce, so I will get spices next time... and there will be a next time! They are only open Thursday Friday and Saturday, so make a plan. It's worth it!!

I'm tempted to keep this place to myself because it's just that good but I can't keep this gem of a restaurant a secret. We wanted bbq and decided to try something new. I was feeling optimistic after reading the rave reviews. My husband and I decided to try the smoked wings, the turkey tips and the Mac and cheese. He picked our order up and mentioned how sweet the owners were so service is a 10/10. Let's get to the food. Y'all I don't know which I enjoyed more. I'm usually a sauce on the side girl but the tips came sauced and let me tell you!!! FIRE literally fall off the bone seasoned perfectly and the sauce is delicious. I didn't really have high hopes for the Mac but they have mastered that dish. It was creamy and cheesy literally had cheese pulls. The smoked wings were also amazing fall off the bone too. The food was so good. I didn't even get a chance to take pictures. You have to try it for yourself.

I Stopped by here to get some rib tips to go. Rib tips are simply shortened sections of the spare rib bones chopped/cut into small bite sized portions. I believe one of the the owners took my order and she was very personable and gave me a sample of their turkey ribs and a wing. The turkey rib and wing was smoky, flavorful and juicy. The rib tips were cooked to perfection: tender, moist, well-seasoned and smokey. The sauce was made from scratch and complimented the ribs without overpowering them. If you're ever on the far east side, check this place out.

For around $15 this food is a steallllll. The pulled pork sandwich was around $10 and I was expecting a hamburger size bun. Imagine my surprise when I opened the container to find this huge pulled pork sandwich! This sandwich could easily be shared or be used for 2 meals. The pulled pork was very flavorful. My only gripe is that I wish there was more sauce because there was so much meat. The Mac and cheese was also so delicious!! The food is great, but the owners are even better! They're such nice and welcoming people! Next time you're on the east side, you gotta go!!

Oh my Goodness I think I just had the BEST Smoked Wings and the BEST Mac & Cheese I e EVER had!!! And believe me, that's saying a lot!! Don't Eat The Bone BBQ is located on the Eastside at 10th & Post Road. I had a tear in my eye as this is the same place where Papa Roux and Mama Roux use to be. I got the 6 Smoked Wings with their Hot sauce on the side, I love hot sauce and there's was good, but I really didn't use it, the meat was just falling of the bone!!! The Mac & Cheese was so cheesy and had great flavor!! I can't wait to go back and try other things! A co-worker tried the pulled pork and loved it too. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it only took a few minutes to get my order. It's is all take out only as they have no seating, many placed their order and was given a pager and they waited in their car. I chose to stay and wait and enjoy the beautiful aroma
